Blackburn Rovers manager Jon Dahl Tomasson is set to leave the club, Mail Sport understands.
The Dane has told his players his time at Ewood Park is coming to an end and meetings were taking place on Wednesday. The future of club secretary Ian Silvester is also in doubt.
Rovers have not won in eight league games and have fallen to 18th in the Championship.
They sold midfielder Adam Wharton to Crystal Palace for a fee rising to £22million last week but failed to bring in USA striker Duncan McGuire from Orlando City because of an administrative error.
It is thought they did not press ‘send’ on the Football League’s transfer system.
Tomasson did not appear at his press conference prior to Saturday’s 2-1 defeat by QPR and we understand his 20-month tenure will soon be over.
Rovers finished seventh last season, missing out on the play-offs on goal difference.
But Tomasson revealed he offered to leave the club last summer after his transfer budget was cut and the Venky's were placed under investigation by the Indian government.
