Blackburn Rovers climbed into fourth place with a narrow 1-0 win over Championship strugglers Blackpool.

Tyrhys Dolan celebrated his first-half strike in fine style — performing a flip on pancake day — as Jon Dahl Tomasson’s side held on for a vital victory.

Fellow play-off hopefuls Norwich made it back-to-back home wins for the first time since September with a 3-1 win over Birmingham.

Marcelino Nunez hit two and Christos Tzolis added a late third, with Maxime Colin on target for the Blues.

Elsewhere, Rotherham inched away from the drop zone with a 2-1 win over Sunderland. Oliver Rathbone put the Millers ahead in the first half, but after on-loan Joe Gelhardt saw a goal chalked off for offside, Shane Ferguson doubled the home side’s advantage. Gelhardt ensured a nervy finish after nodding home.

Stoke came from behind at Swansea to seal a first away win since December 17. Morgan Whittaker put the Swans ahead after two minutes, but Josh Laurent hit a quickfire brace and Lewis Baker made it 3-1.

Meanwhile, Tom Bradshaw's late equaliser rescued Millwall a point in a 1-1 home draw against leaders Burnley.

Bradshaw, who struck a hat-trick in Millwall's win against Burnley's title rivals Sheffield United on Saturday, fired an 85th-minute equaliser after Ashley Barnes had given the visitors a second-half lead.

The Clarets are now unbeaten in their last 13 league matches and extended their lead at the top of the table to 12 points.

Millwall climbed one place up to fifth, above Luton and Watford on goal difference, to maintain their play-off challenge.
