Bodycam footage has revealed the view referee Premier League Peter Bankes had for Harry Wilson's stunning goal during Fulham's 3-2 pre-season victory over Brentford on Sunday.
Wilson opened the scoring three minutes into Premier League's 'Summer Series' clash in Philadelphia.
The Welsh international received the ball on the edge of the Brentford box, before cutting inside and curled a shot towards goal.
His effort curled into the top corner of the net, beyond the Bees new goalkeeper Mark Flakken.
A video was shared by the Premier League on social media with the caption 'It's not everyday you see a goal from the referee's point of view'.
The footage shows referee Bankes following the build-up to Wilson's goal and the Welshman's subsequent celebrations from pitch level.
Premier League officials have been wearing bodycams throughout the 'Summer Series' in the United States.
Bankes' fellow Premier League official Rob Jones had also worn a bodycam during Saturday night’s friendly between Chelsea and Brighton.
The devices have been used to captured goals and penalty incidents, along with various discussions between the referees and their assistants
Referees will not be able to use the devices when the Premier League resumes, as they are prohibited under the laws of the game, as well as the use of live audio.
Wilson's stunning goal in the pre-season friendly had set the tone for a thrilling match between London rivals Fulham and Brentford.
The Cottagers eventually emerged as 3-2 winners, with Bobby Decordova-Reid and Carlos Vinicius also on target for the Cottagers.
