Former Juventus defender Leonardo Bonucci says Italy should try for Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola.
FIGC are taking their time in hiring a replacement for former Italy coach Rino Gattuso, who resigned after their World Cup playoff defeat in Bosnia.
Bonucci, who now works for FIGC as a scout and analyst, told La Gazzetta dello Sport: "Given the list of names that have appeared in recent days, if there is a genuine desire to start over, I would do so with the rumoured possibility of having Pep Guardiola.
"Signing him would mean a drastic change from the past."
He added: "I think it will be very difficult, but it costs nothing to dream."
