Boris and Carrie Johnson are among the tens of thousands cheering on England at Wembley tonight, along with Sir Keir Starmer, despite Labour voicing concerns the Euros final would not be safe for spectators.
Johnson and Starmer swapped their shirts and ties for England strips to watch the Three Lions take on Italy on Sunday.
The Prime Minister wore an England strip over his collared shirt as he waved from the stands next to wife Carrie ahead of kick off at Wembley.
Starmer cut a more casual figure in a white t-shirt with the England team logo. He and wife Victoria posed for a selfie and took pictures with supporters before the match started.
The Labour leader came under fire for bagging two free tickets to the match even though Labour had raised concerns about whether it was safe for fans.
The Tories accused him of having 'double standards' for agreeing to be a guest of the Premier League at Wembley tonight – alongside an expected crowd of 60,000.
Last week, Shadow Sports Minister Alison McGovern voiced concerns about that many fans packing into stadiums and called on ministers to publish data to show it was safe.
Tory MP Richard Holden said Sir Keir should return the tickets if that was really Labour's view.
He said: 'It really is double-standards for Sir Keir to bag two free tickets for Wembley just as the Labour Party is questioning whether fans should go to the match due to 'safety concerns'.'
Mr Holden added that he was 'sure the Government wouldn't allow 60,000 fans to enjoy this great occasion if it wasn't safe for them to do so'.
Labour sources said it was 'complete nonsense' to suggest that they did not want fans in the ground tonight.
They said the Tories had 'never been fully and immediately transparent' on what was learnt from attendance at earlier Euros matches.
A spokesman for Sir Keir said: 'Keir is delighted to attend Wembley for this historic occasion.'
In light of England's historic final, Boris Johnson has been challenged to put fans first in the bid to host the 2030 World Cup – by capping ticket prices.
Labour Shadow Sports Secretary Jo Stevens said: 'We must make it affordable to watch the World Cup on home soil for the first time since 1966.'
