I guess that was the only club year their stats were comparable as Robin Van Persie spent most of all his years on the treatment table injured, so for durability and heading ability, I go with Mario Gomez, for finishing, RVP trumps him, I've seen Gomez miss sitters... and their international career is barely comparable as Robin did more for Netherlands than Gomez did for Germany, yes, he won the world cup but he was just a part of the successful team, like Skhodran Mustafi was!
