Tottenham recorded back-to-back Premier League wins with a comfortable 2-0 victory over Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium on Saturday as goals from James Maddison and Dejan Kulusevski inspired Ange Postecoglou's side to their first away win of the season.
Match Report
England international Maddison opened the scoring in the 17th minute with a brilliantly-worked goal that saw Spurs pick a hole in the Bournemouth defence that left the Englishman with a simple finish from close-range.
The visitors could have doubled their lead in the first-half with Richarlison spurning a golden chance from close-range that would have handed him a first goal of the new season.
Bournemouth deflated after going behind but rallied late on before half-time with Ryan Christie's powerful strike forcing a strong save from Guglielmo Vicario and Philip Billing watching his effort skew wide.
An inspired start to the second half saw Antoine Semenyo threaten with an effort from range that rifled the side-netting as Bournemouth began to surge forward.
Swedish winger Dejan Kulusevski deflated any comeback hopes with a 63rd minute goal against the run of play that saw him slot an effort into the bottom corner after meeting Yves Bissouma's cross.
Bournemouth couldn't offer a response with Spurs seeing out the remainder of the match with ease as Postecoglou's bright start to life in charge continued.

Why didn't United go for him in the first place? He is better and cheaper than Mount
