Sky Italia says Bournemouth are winning the tug-of-war for the goalkeeper. The deal is expected to be completed this week.
Only a few details remain, and Mandas is expected to travel to England to undergo his medical examination in the coming days.
Bournemouth will initially loan the goalkeeper for the rest of the season - but the agreement also includes a mandatory purchase option.
It will cost the Cherries €17.5m to make the transfer permanent.
