Bournemouth will have Evanilson available for their Premier League clash with Arsenal after successfully appealing against his red card in their 1-1 draw with Manchester United.
Evanilson was initially given a yellow card by referee Peter Bankes following a tackle on Noussair Mazraoui, with the Brazilian appearing to slip when closing down the defender.
But after Bankes was sent to the monitor for an on-field review, the yellow was upgraded to a red card, leaving Andoni Iraola's side down to 10 men for the final 20 minutes.
Rasmus Hojlund netted an injury-time leveller to seal a share of the spoils at the Vitality Stadium, denting Bournemouth's hopes of sealing European football next year.
"An independent regulatory commission has removed Evanilson's three-match ban following a successful claim of wrongful dismissal," read a Football Association statement.
The Cherries are 10th in the Premier League table with four games of their season remaining, a point behind eighth-placed Fulham in the race for Europe.
A top eight finish would secure a spot in next season's Europa Conference League if Crystal Palace do not beat Manchester City in the FA Cup final.
But Bournemouth will have new hope of ending their season on a high now that they have Evanilson available for the rest of the campaign.
The 25-year-old has been involved in six goals in his last nine league starts for Bournemouth (five goals, one assist).

Bournemouth went on to draw the match but will their points be restored? This happened to Arsenal‘s Lees Skelly but overturning the red card alone is not enough.
The system is corrupt. 3 points lost.

This shows Why epl refs are useless. you give a decision, someone else makes you change your mind only for your second decision to be upturned. Does this not make you stupid. Stick with your decision if you are convinced

the high percentage of bad decisions that goes against us must be looked at by the club. the playing field should be level

This is shocking, but this is what always happens. There was an earlier tackle just before the Bournemouth goal that should also have been a red card for Bournemouth. The whole point of tacking is that a player should be in control of their body to avoid wild lunges and high contact that can cause major injuries

It should have never been a red card in the 1st place. Even Stevie Wonder could see it was a slip before the tackle was made...
