Braithwaite: Barca play the best football & I'm ambitious to play at this level

The new striker admits that he did not expect to sign for Barça.

"I was surprised at that moment," Braithwaite said.

"It's been many years I've been seeing this in my head and it's always been my ambition to play at this level.

"No matter what, I've always been working hard and believing.

"I know when you work hard, you believe and you pray to God, things will happen.

"He will move mountains for you and I am here right now and I am ready."

Braithwaite also explained that he has studied Barcelona's football style, which, in his opinion, is the finest in the world.

"Barcelona play the best football in the world," he added.

"I've been studying them and that's what I am going to do in the next couple of days so when it's time for the game I will be in the right areas in the right moment."
