Bryan Mbeumo, the 25-year-old Cameroonian striker, is to leave Brentford for Manchester United in a transfer totalling 82 million euros.
The news was reported on Friday by The Athletic and confirmed by Fabrizio Romano.
Manchester United will pay a fixed fee of 75.1 million euros, plus another 6.9 million in add-ons, in a transfer paid in four instalments.
It should be remembered that on Thursday, Manchester United had made a first formal offer of 75.1 million euros, plus 5.8 in bonuses, now improving the performance-related offer in Mbeumo's contract.
Mbeumo completed his sixth season at Brentford, scoring 20 goals and providing eight assists in 42 games in 2024/25.

Man United fan is worst and clueless. since the beginning of this Mbeumo transfer negotiation, it has been get this deal done, now united board with all effort has gotten the deal done and the clueless fans are still complaining, Mbeumo with his physicality is clearly what Man U need in the Frontline, Hodjnud lacks that physicality, for me all I pray is Mbeumo succeed that's all.

In my humble opinion tho, I wouldn't cough up more than 55mil for this guy, at least not outrightly.. But it's our job as fans to gv him a rousing welcome thereby letting him know what it means to play for MAN UNITED

Manchester United, hope that's a good decision and at the same time we understand, how difficult it would be for them to attract good players at this stage, as they are not playing in any competitive tournaments in Europe. But then 82m euros, wow.

Morons kept changing the price , suffocated and emptied the club's pockets and now they will be smiling all the way to the bank knowing they have extorted all the money from Man U . What about if he fail to live up to expectations and eventually flop how is he going to be sold .
