Bukayo Saka sings his OWN chant live on air as Jamie Carragher join in

Jamie Carragher and Micah Richards managed to convince Bukayo Saka to sing his own chant after Arsenal's dramatic Champions League penalty shootout win against Porto on Tuesday night.

Having trailed 1-0 from the first leg in Portugal, Leandro Trossard's first-half strike levelled the tie on aggregate, and David Raya saved two spot-kicks in the shootout as Arsenal prevailed 4-2 on penalties to reach the quarter-finals for the first time since 2010.

Saka kept his cool by slotting home his side's third penalty, and he made his debut appearance on CBS Sports afterwards to discuss the victory.

During the chaotic interview, Carragher - who was bizarrely wearing an Arsenal shirt - and Richards urged Saka to sing his own chant, but the winger was reluctant at first and asked a group of nearby fans to sing instead.

After receiving no help from the small group of supporters, Saka turned to host Kate Abdo and asked: 'Do you want me to sing, live on TV? Do you know it, will you sing with me?

Carragher responded: 'We'll do it with you!' This was enough encouragement for Saka as he started a rendition of the chant to the tune of ABBA's famous hit 'Voulez-Vous'.

Carragher and Richards may have struggled with the words, but they were clearly big fans of the song as they attempted to join in and danced along, with all three men bursting into laughter.

Meanwhile, Arsenal's all-time top scorer Thierry Henry also enjoyed the moment as he turned to Abdo and smiled when Saka started singing.

Henry had earlier stopped watching the penalty shootout before Porto's final spot-kick, with footage showing the Frenchman walking away as he claimed he already knew Galeno was going to miss.

The Porto forward was denied from the spot seconds later, as Raya dived to his left to palm the ball away, cueing wild celebrations from the Arsenal players and supporters.

However, there was also an awkward moment for the CBS Sports crew later in the evening after Carragher joked that Abdo was 'not loyal' to her boyfriend Malik Scott.

Scott is a former boxer who now trains ex-heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder, and Abdo went public with their relationship last month.

Abdo quickly shut down the on-air exchange with Carragher, as Henry and Richards looked visibly uncomfortable.

But it was a memorable night for Saka and Arsenal, with the Gunners set to find out their opponents in the last eight when the draw for the next stage takes place on Friday.
