The president of the Bulgaria Football Union, Borislav Mihailov, has resigned.
It follows Bulgaria Prime Minister Boyko Borissov calling for him to quit on Tuesday after the racist abuse of England players by home fans in Sofia.
The Euro 2020 qualifier, which England won 6-0, was stopped twice because of racist behavior, which included Nazi salutes and monkey chants.
The BFU said the move "is a consequence of the recent tensions" but did not mention racism in their statement.

Very positive move from the Prime Minister. Fans must understand that,Black footballers players played a significant role to bring football where it is today. Their is no physical different between us except our colours and that is the will of God. Allah mentioned in the glorious Quran "I created you and make you into different colors,tribes and ethnic groups to show you my greatness". We should embrace each other for the sake of humanity and stop this hate because Africans are proud of every color and race and will never racially abused others. Am proud to be a a black because is a sign of our civilization as a society.

I don't know why Africans really accept to be affiliated with monkey and it hurts you because we definitely do not look like them. Just look at the Bulgarian coach and look at Raheem starling and find the answer for yourself.
