Butt: Man United will definitely offload Zirkzee, Ugarte, Malacia, and Mazraoui

Nicky Butt believes that as part of Manchester United's rebuild this summer, the team will clear out at least four players at the end of the season.

Midfield is a position that Manchester United needs to strengthen as a priority, with Casemiro leaving the team after his contract expires this summer.

Manuel Ugarte is also believed to be likely to leave, which would leave Kobbie Mainoo as the only first-team midfielder in the Manchester United squad, and the club plans to bring in at least two players to strengthen this position.

Manchester United needs to expand the depth of its squad, but former star Butt believes that many fringe players in the team are "mediocre", and he believes that Ugarte, Zirkzee, Malacia and Mazraoui will all be cleared out.

Butt also hopes that his old club will bring in another centre-back, and suggests that Leny Yoro be loaned out for training.

Butt said in an interview: "They definitely need a top centre-back and two midfielders.

Look at those top clubs, their squads have plenty of options.

Bringing in two midfielders is to supplement the depth of the squad, the team must build a complete squad, after all, there will always be injuries and suspensions during the season.

Manchester United's game against Leeds United illustrates the problem very well, the lineup that day was too young and the overall level was very average.

They will definitely clear out a few people - Zirkzee, Ugarte, Malacia, Mazraoui, and Leny Yoro may be loaned out.

They need to bring in a few players, not necessarily all of them starters, but they have to play 60 games next season and must have enough squad depth."
