Hakan Calhanoglu hopes his calf injury is not so serious as to rule him out against Juventus, after limping off during Milan’s 3-0 win over Lazio.
Calhanoglu’s effort took a big deflection, then Zlatan Ibrahimovic converted a penalty and Ante Rebic concluded the rout in the second half.
“It hurts a bit, I just got a knock to my calf and hope it will resolve itself quickly so I can play against Juventus,” the midfielder told DAZN.
“We made a mistake against SPAL, but today showed a great performance. We’d started strong, showed heart and never let go. We’ve got to continue like this.
“We want to get back into the Europa League and it was fundamental to win against a strong Lazio side today. We’ve got to take it one game at a time.
“Tough fixtures are coming up against Juventus and Napoli, then we’ll see what happens.”
Ibrahimovic sat on the bench for the second half and did not stop shouting at his teammates.
“He’s a wonderful person and helps with his attitude both on and off the field. We’re happy to play with him.”

That’s if the ref don’t award unnecessary penalty. I don’t see juve easily beating this Milan side.
