Cavani's contract with the Ligue 1 giants expires in the summer and he has already attracted heavy interest from the likes of Manchester United and Juventus.

Now, according to L'Equipe cited by Calciomercato, David Beckham's new Inter Miami side have thrown their hat into the ring.

But the 32-year-old Uruguay international has turned down the MLS side's recent approach.

Cavani is on the radar of a host of European giants thanks to his fine form for PSG since his arrival back in 2013.

And Thomas Tuchel is hopeful that Cavani stays at the club despite links away from Paris.

'It's too soon to speak about such things. I'm sure Edi is speaking with the club. He knows it's his club.

'I don't know Edi's ideas exactly at the moment. I count 100 per cent on Edi this season. He's been missing for several weeks and the main thing for me is to push Edi on the pitch, so we've got a fit and in-form Edinson Cavani.

'He's got the most goals for the club. Edi is very important,' Tuchel continued.

'He's in the group of five players I always speak with, to have an opinion from them on all things. He's important in the dressing room and on the pitch.'
