Chelsea and Tottenham given transfer dilemma solution with Mike Maignan and Andre Onana audition

Chelsea and Tottenham are both in need of signing a new goalkeeper in the summer transfer window and both clubs look to have been shown a clear solution

Tottenham and Chelsea are both in search of a new goalkeeper and the Champions League semi-final between Inter and AC Milan would have certainly made for interesting viewing. The Blues had offered Inter a swap deal including Spanish shot-stopper Kepa but that offer was rebuffed, with the Nerazzurri setting their price tag at £45million - with the 27-year-old also delivering a fine performance on the biggest stage.

The two Milan clubs getting this far into the Champions League proves the need for a world class goalkeeper. Liverpool signing Allison and Manchester City bringing Ederson to the club saw both teams then win a number of major trophies and the same impact could be felt at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and Stamford Bridge if Maignan and Onana are acquired, respectively.
