Chelsea have confirmed the signing of Villarreal forward Nicolas Jackson for £32million after watching him thrive in LaLiga.
The 22-year-old has signed an eight-year contract, keeping him at Stamford Bridge until at least 2031.
Co-sporting directors Laurence Stewart and Paul Winstanley said: 'We are excited to welcome Nicolas to Chelsea. He is a young player with big potential, as he showcased for Villarreal last season.
'We believe he is ready for this next step in his career and look forward to him working with our new head coach, Mauricio Pochettino, and his Chelsea teammates.'
The 21-year-old, who has played twice for Senegal, scored 13 goals last season in a breakthrough campaign at Spanish side Villarreal.
He bagged nine goals in his last eight games, as the Yellow Submarine finished fifth in the LaLiga table.
