Chelsea have joined the list of clubs following Porto's Brazilian defender Eder Militao.
The 20-year-old only joined Porto last summer from Sao Paulo after initially being considered by Manchester City earlier in the year.
The versatile centre-back has continued to impress and has been followed by Manchester United, Everton and Juventus this season but Premier League rivals Chelsea have also taken note as they consider options ahead of January.
Militao is understood to have the same agents as David Luiz and Willian. He can play right-back and defensive midfield and has already been capped by Brazil.
Porto though would expect to make a substantial profit on the £7.2million they paid for Militao with his former club Sao Paulo also due 10percent of any sell on fee.
Militao has played 12 games this season and scored in their 3-1 Champions League victory over Schalke last week.

We have Ampadu who is probably far better. What's the point of going after another defender when we've got a perfect player. Or better yet if we are going for someone, unless it's Rugani or Koulibaly, it's not worth discussing. The fact these unknown kids that pop up out of nowhere and are preferred ahead of our own youths with similar or better abilities baffles me.....
