Chelsea fans fume at Christian Pulisic after Instagram post with USA teammates - and Leeds rivals

Footballers posting pictures with their friends isn't uncommon, but they usually don't do so if their friends play for an opposing team that battered them the past weekend.

Following a 3-0 loss to Leeds United, Chelsea winger Christian Pulisic posted an image with USMNT teammates Brenden Aaronson and Tyler Adams on Instagram.

Aaronson and Adams recently moved to Leeds from Red Bull clubs Salzburg and Leipzig respectively.

Pulisic has been rumored with a move away from Stamford Bridge, with Newcastle United and Manchester United linked as possible new homes.

Pulisic entered the match in the 64' replacing Conor Gallagher, just five minutes before Leeds' Jack Harrison scored to make the game 3-0.

Aaronson scored his first goal in the Premier League to open up the scoring in the 33', capitalizing on an Edouard Mendy mistake and practically walking the ball into the net.

The win moves Leeds United - led by American manager Jesse Marsch - to third in the Premier League table with seven points in three matches.

Pulisic is seemingly out of the starting picture at Chelsea, with the winger only logging a total of 56 minutes across the first three matches of the season.

In spite of this, Chelsea fans were livid in the comments under the social media post, with many baffled at the timing being so close to the loss.

The comments were split between these Chelsea fans and fans of the USMNT begging Pulisic to leave in order to get more playing time.

Chelsea's next match is this Saturday against Leicester City.
