Chelsea midfielder Cesare Casadei insists the Primavera system was a good grounding for him.
The Italy U20 World Cup star left Inter Milan's primavera team for Chelsea last summer.
He told La Repubblica: "I didn't think about the fact that I wouldn't make my debut for Inter, I was focused on a great opportunity.
"I just thought on the plus side, enjoying every aspect of this experience.
"I don't agree with those who speak ill of the Primavera championship, the level is good.
"In England, the game is more physical and intense, but it also depends on the fact that in the Primavera you play at 18-19, while I was put to the test in the U23 championship."
