Chelsea midfielder Mateo Kovacic is emerging as a target for Italian giants Juventus.
The Turin-based team are struggling in mid-table in Serie A this season after a financial irregularities-related points deduction.
Per news outlet Calcio Mercato Web, Juve are looking at Kovacic as one of the options to revitalize their midfield.
He may be an easier player to recruit, as compared to other stars, given Chelsea have Juve man Denis Zakaria on loan.
The outlet believes that a Zakaria-Kovacic swap is possible in the summer.
Chelsea are likely to go on another spending spree in the summer, and will likely sign a new central midfielder.
