At Beijing Time (CET) on October 9, Chelsea Football Club officially announced that it had begun pre-application discussions regarding the redevelopment of its Cobham training facility.
Chelsea's official statement reads:
"We can confirm that the Club has commenced pre-application discussions with the local planning authority regarding our Cobham training ground. Pre-application discussions are a normal part of the planning process and allow for preliminary proposals to be discussed with the planning authority prior to the formal submission of a planning application."
"Such discussions help to identify relevant planning issues, policies and requirements, but do not imply that any subsequent application will be approved or supported. No planning application has been submitted at this stage."
"Should an application be received in the future, the proposals would be considered through the normal planning process, which would include a public consultation stage, and assessed against relevant local and national planning policies."

Why are you taking us in circles? I thought my mighty Chelsea was discussing how to demolish the Stamford Bridge and build a new 100,000 seater MEGA stadium, not repairing a training ground! By the way, this training ground is in a better condition than Arsenal's Emirates farm yard pitch.🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑
