Chelsea owner Abramovich's ex-wife 'engaged to Greek shipping heir'

It has been revealed Roman Abramovich's ex-wife Dasha Zhukova is engaged to long-term boyfriend Stavros Niarchos.

According to showbiz website Page Six, Dasha and the Greek shipping heir were openly discussing the engagement at her birthday party in a New York Bar this weekend.

'The couple is scheduled to get married later this year,' a source said, 'they're still figuring out the details.'

Dasha Zhukova and her boyfriend of two years Stavros Niarchos reportedly got engaged recently.

The source also claimed she remained friends with Russian billionaire and Chelsea owner Abrahmovic despite her new relationship.

'She's seen him a million times since the divorce,' the source added.

Court documents filed in New York show Abrahmovic and Zhukova finalized their divorced in August last year.

The settlement included the transfer of over $92 million worth of property to Dasha - including a four-story mansion in Manhattan.

Zhukova and Niarchos' relationship was all but confirmed back in January last year when he spent New Year's Eve with her friends in Peru.

Niarchos, 33, was careful to avoid being snapped with Zhukova, 38, in the many group shots posted by the social-media loving crew, but still managed to pop up on Geffen's Instagram in a single photo.

A month later, Blasberg posted the first photo of Zhukova and Niarchos together, as he and the couple enjoyed a Super Bowl Sunday dinner.

The couple have managed to both show up at the same events with increasing frequency since September 2016, when Zhukova attended the US Open with Ivanka Trump and Kloss while Niarchos was seated with his younger brother Theo in a separate section.

Just a week later however, Niarchos and his model girlfriend Jessica Hart attended the nuptials of Alberto Mugrabi and Colby Jordan at the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Antibes.

Zhuoka also attended and was pictured with her close friends, Niarchos' sister Eugenie.

The two have been close friends for a decade, and both women were also friendly with Hart during Narchos' relationship with the model.

Photographs from the event show that Niarchos was without his model girlfriend Jessica Hart while Zhukova's fiercely private husband Roman Abramobvich was also nowhere to be seen that night.

Two months later the pair traded the Swiss Alps for the canals of Venice as they both turned up sans-significant other at the April opening of Damien Hirst's exhibit Treasures From The Wreck Of The Unbelievable in Venice.

Niarchos posed for photos with his mother Victoria while the red-carpet loving Zhukova kept things very low key, appearing in just one photo alongside designer Miuccia Prada.

It was also around this time Abramovich began being seen with his rumored new girlfriend, Polina Deripaska.

She is the estranged wife of another billionaire oligarch, Oleg Deripaska.
