Chelsea news: The Blues' owners continue to have a positive time off the field as attention shifts towards pre-season and Mauricio Pochettino
Clearlake Capital have released their second quarter investment activity review for 2023.
The American private equity firm published their report, writing: "In the second quarter of 2023, Clearlake announced one exit and eight add-on transactons. The successful exit of Archer illustrates the resilience of our investement strategy, delivering both growth and value.
"We further expanded our portfolio through eight add-on acquisitions, each one selected to supplement and fuel the growth of our existing investments. Clearlake believes these add-on acquisitions reinforce the strength of our portfolio and showcase commitment to pursuing opportunities for sustainable growth."
BBB Industries acquired Inter-Turbo whilst other deals for Wisconsin Golf Club, Blaze Runner and Sunburst Shutters were also completed. It follows the high-profile sale of risk management software company Archer to European private equity firm group Cinven.
Their work in the transfer market has been the centre for much attention after a large group of senior players were sold or released in the summer window as they look to revamp the squad for Mauricio Pochettino. The goal is now to find similar success with Chelsea as they have had in the world of business.
