Chelsea scouts watched three potential transfer targets in action in the recent Lisbon derby, according to reports in Portugal.

Benfica defeated rivals Sporting Lisbon 2-1 in the Portuguese Cup on Wednesday, with several young talents in action for both sides.

Chelsea were reportedly watching Benfica midfielder Joao Felix, 19, and defender Ruben Dias, 21, as well as Sporting midfielder Bruno Fernandes, 24.

According to Portuguese sports website O Jogo, Felix is in high demand after impressing in his breakout campaign.

They claim Liverpool and Manchester United are also interested in the teenager, who claimed an assist in the cup win, and could demand a fee of up to £105million.

Chelsea however are said to be especially keen on the attack-minded Felix as a possible long term replacement for Real Madrid target Eden Hazard.

Dias, meanwhile, could follow the same route as Brazilian centre back David Luiz by swapping Benfica for Stamford Bridge.

Fernandes meanwhile, despite being slightly older than the Benfica duo, impressed by scoring the consolation goal for Sporting.

He has scored 18 goals already this season, which will have been noted at Chelsea, where they have struggled for goals with misfiring forwards Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud.

Chelsea have already invested heavily in their attacking talent ahead of the new season, with Christian Pulisic to join from Borussia Dortmund in the summer for £58m.
