Maurizio Sarri and his Chelsea squad are on their way to Ukraine as they look to take another step closer to the Europa League final.

The Blues face Dynamo Kiev in the last-16 of the competition on Thursday night, with Sarri targeting a trophy to end an up-and-down first season in England.

The Italian saw a promising start to the Premier League season fade quickly, while his side were dumped out of the FA Cup by Manchester United and beaten in the Carabao Cup final by Manchester City last month.

However, the Europa League - and the guaranteed Champions League spot which comes with winning it - remains firmly in his sights.

Chelsea earned a comfortable win in last week's first leg at Stamford Bridge as goals from Pedro, Willian and Callum Hudson-Odoi sealed a 3-0 advantage.

Sarri's squad departed for the return fixture in Kiev on Wednesday morning, with players taking to social media to document their journey to eastern Europe.

Hudson-Odoi, who is being considered for a maiden England call-up, posed with Ethan Ampadu after they took their seats on the club's private plane.

David Luiz sat next to compatriot Willian for the flight, which will take just over three hours to complete.

Pedro gave a thumbs up to the camera as he climbed on board, while Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Andreas Christensen smiled for the camera after getting comfortable.
