In the 4th round of the Premier League, Chelsea faced promoted Hull City at home. After taking the lead, Chelsea conceded two goals in quick succession, extending their run to 20 consecutive Premier League matches without a clean sheet.
Chelsea's last clean sheet in the Premier League came on January 26, when the Blues defeated Brentford 2-0. This was also their only Premier League clean sheet of the season.
The run of 20 consecutive matches conceding goals surpasses their previous record of 17 consecutive matches with goals conceded, set in 1991.
Chelsea's longest streak of consecutive league matches conceding goals dates back to 1961, when the Blues went 31 matches without a clean sheet.
In the next round, Chelsea will travel to Brentford away, the same opponents from when they last kept a clean sheet.

AS D CLUB IS PRESENTLY CONSTITUTED WE LACK EXPERIENCE SERIOUSLY IN BOTH MIDFIELD & DEFENCE WHICH NO DOUBT WILL HEAVILY AFFECT US THROGHOUT THIS SEASON. The coach needs to stop using 3 defenders at the back, play 4 at the back, trust Acheampong more, stop playing Fofana & Colwill together, drop Gusto, get a solid defensive midfielder in January and ask the attackers to help in the defense

The coach and players should take responsibility for the match. Why was LaCroix on the bench. Neto was busy running like a headless chicken. Gusto just looked lost in game, Palmer didn't do much today as well. And the midfield was in total shambles. Alonso leave your pride and play 4-2-3-1 formation so we don't conceded goals again. This is one of the reasons you got sacked at Real Madrid. Don't make the same mistake because of pride. There are matches Estevao should start and Palmer comes from the bench. Fofana is totally useless. You kept Acheampong on the bench for no just cause.
