The latest Chelsea news and transfer gossip including updates on Harry Kane, Moises Caicedo and Dusan Vlahovic
Your morning Chelsea transfer round-up on Friday, June 21.
Kane decision
Harry Kane has dealt Chelsea and Manchester United a huge blow to their hopes of signing him despite refusing to extend his stay at Tottenham. The 29-year-old striker faces an uncertain future in north London with his contract set to expire at the end of next season.
According to The Times, the Englishman will not extend his stay with the Lilywhites and would be keen to join Bayern Munich. The report states that the German outfit have recently had a second bid worth £68.5million, plus add-ons, rejected, but Tottenham want in the region of £100million – ideally in an up-front lump payment.
Despite no intention of a long-term future at Spurs, The Times insist that Kane will not force an exit. Levy could be left no choice but to accept the German outfits' next offer, with the striker seemingly willing to simply leave for free in 12-months time.
Liverpool decision
Steve McManaman has claimed Liverpool will not go the distance with Chelsea in the race to sign Moises Caicedo this summer. In an interview with Betfred, the former Reds midfielder said: "No, they [Liverpool] won’t pay that money. I understand what Brighton are doing and if it’s true that Arsenal offered them a lot of money in the January window and they said no, then now his price tag would have gone up even more, so I don’t believe that any team would pay £100million for him.
"He’s a good defensive midfielder, but the prices we’re talking about are ridiculous aren’t they? I presume that Declan Rice’s move to Arsenal has set the benchmark now.
"Clubs can play the game now and claim if one defensive midfielder is worth £100million then their player is also worth that too. I very much doubt that Liverpool would pay £100million for Caicedo."
Vlahovic race
According to Sky Sports, as quoted by Goal, Real Madrid are exploring the possibility of signing Vlahovic this summer following the departure of Karim Benzema. The Chelsea Chronicle add that Carlo Ancelotti has even made a phone call about the £51.9million-rated striker.
While the Blues may feel threatened by the Spanish giants' enquiry, Romelu Lukaku could unlock significant leverage in a potential player-plus-cash swap deal...

Nunez £68m. Caicedo not worth £100m. There are other options.
Don’t mind this guy I don’t know where in football caicedo worth 100mil and Nunez is 68 and for the first season of Nunez Liverpool we’re struggling with form dip and injury so I don’t blame him even Gakpo score less goals too

Liverpool bought 2 top midfielders for less than 100m, so there is no chance to pay 100m for one and better to invest them in another 2, in my opinion 🤷🏻♂️
