Chelsea know that Alexander Isak's potential sale will push Newcastle further into the market and are waiting to approve Nicolas Jackson's exit incase the Magpies come in with a big offer
Chelsea are waiting to see how Alexander Isak's future plays out before deciding what to do with Nicolas Jackson - with Newcastle potentially making a move for the Blues striker.
Jackson has been told that he can leave Stamford Bridge after falling down the pecking order. Liam Delap and Joao Pedro have both been signed this summer, which has seen the Senegal striker deemed surplus to requirements.
Sky in Germany reports that Bayern Munich have emerged as frontrunners to land Jackson, who scored 13 times in all competitions last season. They are ready to take him on loan and will pay the entirety of his wages to have him at the Allianz Arena for the season.
Bayern’s sporting director Max Eberl said on Wednesday night: "If we can find a player who is physically ready, who scores goals, has assists, and who already has experience, we would be happy to loan that player" - before adding that Jackson fits that criteria.
However Chelsea are aware that the possible late sale of Isak, likely to Liverpool, may see Newcastle push even harder to sign a striker and they've been keeping tabs on Jackson, according to reports.
The west Londoners are holding off on green lighting Jackson's loan to Bayern as a result because they believe a more lucrative - and potentially permanent deal - can be struck with the Magpies if they frantically look to add more firepower to their frontline before the transfer deadline.
Chelsea want more than £60million if they are to sell Jackson. Newcastle this week saw their offer of £55m for Wolves striker Jorgen Strand Larsen rejected, but they are expected to return with a new and improved bid. They've also seen bids for Yoane Wissa turned down whilst they missed out on Benjamin Sesko, who went to Manchester United.
Blues boss Enzo Maresca opened the door to Jackson's exit when he said last week: “It’s better for Nico if what he desires is going to happen. He is available, but he’s not going to be part of the squad because we have two players in that position — and we know that something can happen before the transfer window closes.
“The player is open to leave. If he finds a good solution, he’s going to leave. Christo is with us like Nico, but it’s the same answer as Nico. We’ll see if they’re going to be here. It’s always better if they find a solution, as they are going to be more happy — and the club the same. But you need someone that is going to buy you. It’s not so easy.”

This man is doing something which he will regret selling Jackson to Newcastle the team which is always threat to Chelsea is better let him go elsewhere not within EPL
it doesn't matter New Castle will play Chelsea only twice & they will play other top teams too so he might take points off other big teams to help Chelsea as well

you must be a joker... Jackson is the one that said he wants to leave...also do you think he can play hide and seek with Chelsea with over 6yrs contract remaining?
What are you taking about here bro. Yes he wants to leave but the only reason CFC would keep him is so they sell him for an higher fee next season and not because they need him. So my question is why should he give them what they want wen they have so little regards for him?

if he does that, his form might likely drop, and that as well, might affect his career going to a big club in Europe, wise saying...
Suck for one season maybe even half then go and build his career up somewhere else. He still have time

If I'm Jackson and I end up staying at CFC this season, I swear I will put in zero effort because it is obvious they want to just cash on him.
