Chelsea midfielder Marco van Ginkel is edging closer to moving on loan to PSV Eindhoven for a fourth season.
The 27-year-old put pen to paper on a new deal at Stamford Bridge earlier this summer, despite not playing for them in six years.
And now the wheels are in motion for Van Ginkel to return to Holland for his fourth spell on loan at PSV.
Van Ginkel has become a forgotten man in west London after failing to make an impression.
Current manager Frank Lampard was still a player at the club when Van Ginkel arrived from Vitesse Arnhem for a fee of £8million.
He has made just four first-team appearances for the Blues since signing and has turned out more for the Under 23s, playing eight times for the youth team.

many don't know that he suffered a gruesome injury and was sidelined for 2 years and his chelsea contract got expired in the middle of his recovery which is why he was left with no salary. and chelsea gave him a 1 year contract so that he can focus on his recovery without worrying about his income. that was a great gesture by chelsea and now he have finally found a club and hope he will thrive in PSV and chelsea will release him on free without forcing him to sign an extension.
