Chelsea Under-23s have been crowned Premier League 2 champions for 2019-20.
The league was halted in March when Chelsea were three points clear of their closest challengers Leicester at the top of the table.
After a lengthy wait, the young Blues, managed by Andy Myers, have won the title after clubs agreed to determine the final standings using a points-per-game system, as reported by the Premier League's official website.
It is the first time that Chelsea have won Premier League 2 or the equivalent since the 2013-14 campaign.
One of the stars for Chelsea at Under-23 level this campaign was midfielder Billy Gilmour, who broke into the first-team during the season. Tino Anjorin, who scored five goals in eleven Premier League 2 games, also made two first-team appearances.
Wolves have been relegated to the second division of Premier League 2, while Manchester United and West Ham have both been promoted.
As clubs were unable to complete the play-off fixtures it was decided that the top two teams would go up.
Midfielder James Garner and defender Teden Mengi both caught the eye for Manchester United Under-23s. Mengi made his senior debut in the Europa League game against LASK Linz this week.
With regards to the Under-18 league, where the points-per-game system was also applied, Fulham were named southern section champions, with Manchester City winning the northern section.
City were crowned the overall champions and will be involved in the UEFA Youth League next season.
