Federico Chiesa has spoken on the futures of Liverpool teammates Alisson Becker and Curtis Jones.

As he approaches the final 12 months of his current contract, Jones’ future on Merseyside is up in the air as the last Scouser in the Liverpool squad (minus youngster Jayden Danns) prepares to depart.

The Liverpool Echo report that contract talks have hit a brick wall as Jones wants more game time, something the club may be able to offer him.

Reds goalkeeper Alisson has also been linked with a move to Italy, as reports state he is in talks with Juventus in what seems like a natural move for the Brazilian who has been with Liverpool since 8 years.

Chiesa, speaking with La Gazzetta dello Sport, revealed details on the pair and where they may end up this summer.

“All he (Jones) asked me was what life is like in Italy. I told him it’s great and the weather is better than in Liverpool which, other than that, is a special place.

“Jones, technically, is a really good player. Inter do well to think about signing him.”

On the future of Alisson: “From what I hear, he’s staying in England. Then let’s see.

“We’re talking about one of the top five goalkeepers on the planet. He’s a fantastic leader. He’s won everything and makes the difference on the pitch and in the dressing room.”

Liverpool are already losing Mohamed Salah, Ibrahima Konate and Andrew Robertson. Losing Jones and Alisson would be a huge blow for new manager Andoni Iraola, who has a huge task on his hands taking over the side.
