Claudio Bravo announces his retirement from professional football

This Monday, Chilean football was surprised by the announcement made by national goalkeeper Claudio Bravo, who announced on social media the end of his professional career.

As Cristián Arcos told Los Tenores , the goalkeeper did not rule out hanging up his gloves due to the fact that he did not have an offer that was attractive enough to extend his presence in high performance, whether from the United States or Saudi Arabia.

With the transfer market in Chile having closed, he also had no chance of returning to national football and the option of waiting until December seemed too long for the two-time champion of America with La Roja.

Thus, the man who trained at Colo Colo and successfully defended the Manchester City shirts in England, as well as the goals of Real Sociedad, Barcelona and Real Betis in Spain, put an end to a successful career in which, for many, he became the best goalkeeper in the history of Chile.
