She has now got her wish to relocate back to the UK, as Wayne Rooney took a pay cut to join Derby County following a season with DC United.

And Coleen Rooney opted for a low-key celebration as she joined her sons, Kai, nine, Klay, six, Kit, three, and 17-month-old Cass at Peppa Pig World in Hampshire on Tuesday.

The WAG, 33, looked in high spirits as she took Kit on the Grammy Rabbits Sailing Club Ride, with an onlooker telling MailOnline that the family all looked to be enjoying their selves.

The onlooker recalled: 'She seemed in high spirits and they all looked like they were having a nice time.

'There was special assistance going around the park with her. We've just seen her going from one ride to the other. I think she's even been on some twice.

'The last I heard she was in the US so it definitely took us by surprise.'

Coleen jetted back to the UK with her brood last week for the summer holidays after feeling homesick, and husband Wayne followed behind this week ahead of signing with Derby County.

Homesick Coleen won her battle for a return to Britain - cutting short his £10million contract in the US by two years and taking a massive pay cut.

Coleen, who is very close to her family, was said to be homesick after making the move, and wanted her children to settle down to life in the UK with friends saying Wayne's decision to come home is a 'big win' for her.

The family has spent the past 13 months in Washington where Wayne signed a three-year £10million ($13million) contract with DC United, who paid him £85,000-a-week.

A source told MailOnline: 'Coleen was the driving force behind this decision. She was never keen to go to the US, she never settled there and she believes it's best for her and the family to come home.

'Wayne will have to take a pay cut in moving back from the States where he earns £85,000-a-week because Derby won't be able to pay him that salary.

'But Coleen thinks it's best for the children to be in familiar surroundings. She's put her foot down and told Wayne she wants their children settled in local schools.

'Work is nearly finished on the home that they have been building in the north of England and the family will move into that.'

There were signs Wayne was unsettled after he flew home last month for a break in the middle of the US season.

Wayne immersed himself in US life but has been planning for many months how to make the next step in his career by moving into management.

But his wife of 11 years is said to want their children 'settled' in schools after the move to America in 2018.
