Colombia U21 striker Mateo Mejia called up to senior Man Utd training

Mateo Mejia trained with Manchester United's first team squad this week.

Ahead of tomorrow's clash with Nottingham Forest, the Colombia U21 striker was called up by manager Erik ten Hag with Marcus Rashford ruled out due to injury.

Meija trained with the first-team back in February but he was once again summoned to join the seniors after the 2-2 Europa League quarterfinal first-leg draw with Sevilla.

Originally born in Spain, Mejia received a call-up for Colombia's U21 squad at the back end of 2022 for the first time.

Meija has impressed and been prolific for United's U21 team this season.
