Chelsea have been one of the Premier League's busiest clubs this transfer window, and it seems they're not done yet.
Todd Boehly is eager to give new boss Enzo Maresca the best chance possible to improve on Chelsea's sixth-placed finish last campaign, having already signed him six new players - including the Italian's midfield heartbeat at Leicester, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, for £30million.
Boehly and his Blues have also focused on youth, with new signing Spanish forward Marc Guiu, 18, impressing in pre-season and youngsters Renato Veiga and Omari Kellyman arriving for sizable fees.
Conor Gallagher has been linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge. Piquing rivals Tottenham's interest but now reportedly wanted in Spain, any move for the Englishman could gather fees that could be used for a new premier forward. Nico Williams is another target and a player that the majority of top Premier League teams want.
Williams makes decision
According to Marca, 21-year-old starlet Williams has made up his mind and will remain with Athletic Club for one more season before any big-money move elsewhere.
Chelsea, Arsenal, and Liverpool had been linked with one of the stars of Euro 2024, as had Catalan giants Barcelona, but the trickster won't be on the move this summer.
In addition to his goal in the final against England, the Spain international netted another and notched an assist during a tournament that earned him countless plaudits. The player who has risen through Athletic Club's ranks has a modest £49million release clause in his current deal.
Williams contributed 27 goals last season in La Liga and would've provided Chelsea with a much-needed danger man out wide, but he looks set on another 12 months in the Basque Country.
Gallagher to Madrid?
Gallagher is one of those linked with a move away from Chelsea this summer, and interest in the Englishman has reached Spain, where Atletico Madrid is attempting to complete a deal for the midfielder. Talks are underway between both parties and a fee in the region of £35m plus add-ons is the price that could be demanded.
Gallagher has entered the final year of his Chelsea deal and has been linked with a move away for some time, namely to league rivals Tottenham and Aston Villa. His departure could raise reasonable funds and get his salary off the Blues' wage bill.
This would allow Boehly and co. to seek out further additions in the transfer market, and Gallagher would likely see more minutes in Spain as Dewsbury-Hall, Moises Caicedo, and Enzo Fernandez are all ahead of him in Maresca's pecking order.
A fresh pair of hands
Despite Dorde Petrovic and Robert Sanchez looking like they'd battle it out to be Maresca's No.1, Villareal goalkeeper Filip Jorgenson is set to arrive at Stamford Bridge and throw a spanner in the works.
Having reportedly completed his Chelsea medical, the 22-year-old Swede will cost £20.7m and could be announced as a new Blue in the next few days.
Jorgensen had his breakthrough season in La Liga last year, becoming Villareal's first-choice shot-stopper and making the most saves in the league with 143 - four off Andre Onana in the Premier League.
He will arrive in west London with the No.1 shirt on his mind, and it will be up to Maresca to choose who will be between the sticks for his first league game against Manchester City.
Another arrival?
It has been reported that Napoli marksman Victor Osimhen could make a blockbuster switch to Stamford Bridge this summer. The two clubs are in conversation about Romelu Lukaku's move to Naples, and suggestions have been made of Osimhen going the other way. According to The Athletic, Osimhen would only potentially join on loan in a deal that would see Chelsea's Belgian head to Italy permanently.
Osimhen has also been of interest to PSG this window, who have been touted as the only club that could afford the near-£100m-rated striker. A loan option hadn't previously been considered, however, and this scenario could give Maresca one of Europe's deadliest finishers.

Money laundering club, they bought the club to cover some illegal activity. Chelsea is a wrecked ship, i will soon switch club to Newcastle to deny the plastic. I've tried since 2008 champions league final against United, I might totally switch to Sevilla cos they love us Nigerians.
