Philippe Coutinho has turned down a loan move to Tottenham Hotspur, according to Sky Sports.

Coutinho’s return to the Premier League now looks unlikely to happen before tomorrow’s deadline as he has rejected a loan move to Tottenham.

Both Barcelona and the player would prefer a permanent deal – but it’s thought unlikely any Premier League team will match Barca’s £80m price tag.
