It was Ronnie Rooke who registered this record back in 1948 when he broke the 30-goal barrier as an Arsenal player at the age of 36 years and 146 days.
Cristiano also became the first player to score more than 50 goals in three of the top European competitions.
At Manchester United, he netted 84 and mustered another 312 in Spain with Real Madrid before moving to Italy, where he has scored 51 times.
No player has ever needed fewer games than the Portuguese superstar (61) to reach 50 goals in Serie A.
