Cristiano Ronaldo netted 25 times in La Liga last term and added 12 goals in the Champions League, including a brace in the final against Juventus. It's the second straight year Ronaldo has won the award presented by All Football, as he was also named the Best FIFA Men's Player and Ballon d'Or winner two years in a row.

All of the people who voted for Ronaldo, 15% are actual fans, 15% don’t like Lionel Messi, and the other 70% are just people who don’t know a lot about soccer and just choose him because that is the only ‘good’ soccer player they know! Ronaldo is a Boss! He sits around the goal and said for a tap in. Messi is a LEADER!! He helps with the build up from end to end and then he passes it off to someone else for an easy goal. I don’t think in any off our life times we will ever see any 2 players so dominate in the world off football. As good as the rising stars off Neymar and De Bruyne and Jesus off Man City are I don’t think they’ll ever reach the heights off Messi and Ronaldo. I’ve never been a fan off Ronaldo and if I had too pick one off the 2 it would always be Messi but there no denying the Portuguese abilities and for all he’s done for the world off football I have to salute him for this. Even though I am one of the Madrid fan but I don't think Ronaldo deserves it. I've been watching all the matches of Real Madrid. I think Messi deserves it more because he scores great goals his dribbling skills. I also been watching all Barcelona matches that made me think that Messi deserves it more. To see the result today it made me upset because some of Real Madrid's fan voted for Ronaldo because he is their idol. They don't vote depends on the skills.

I don't know why fans always seen a player according to his team performance If Ronaldo who is typically consider as a striker then he has less no. of goal than Messi and Kane has the highest.Whereas Messi plays more in midfield doesn't matter where he is been lined up he always make his own goal and score so looking at individual basis Messi deserves more than Ronaldo because if you want to give award to a striker for scoring tap ins and penalties then Harry Kane could easily been the fav nonetheless Congratulations to Ronaldo
