Liverpool striker Dominic Solanke has had a medical with Crystal Palace ahead of his loan move.
The 21-year-old has had limited opportunities at Anfield since joining the club from Chelsea in 2017.
He has not made a first team appearance this season but is still viewed as one for the future by Jurgen Klopp.
Palace manager Roy Hodgson is ready to give him his chance to play regular Premier League football.
The boss has managed to convince the Reading-born forward to move to Selhurst Park despite competition from Brighton, Huddersfield, Bournemouth and Rangers.
In 18 months at Anfield, Solanke has made 28 first-team appearances but scored just once - against Brighton in a 4-0 win on the final day of the 2017/18 season.
Solanke is highly regarded by England and has an excellent record at youth level, having helped the Under-20s to win the World Cup in 2017.
He went on to make his senior international debut in November 2017 as a substitute against Brazil, but has not received another cap since.

I believe Solanke can be a Palace success story, playing alongside Wilfred Zaha and Andros Townsend. It's also smart business by Liverpool to loan out their players to English clubs in order to enhance their development.

I'd love to see him loaned to Wolves. Surely he'd get minutes ahead of Traore.
he is a center forward. troare jus not a finish product but is more dangerous than solanke. if troare gets the right coaching. he would be hard to stop. but I would love for wolves to have him. him a Jimenez as CF because balatini no good

Good! He gets some game time, since Palace are in need of a striker. And we sweeten them up and get friendly with them. So we can take Wan-Bissaka

I think it’s a shame he joined us when he did. 3, even 2 years ago he might have got a look in. But now I don’t see where he would get game time. (Unless we make space for him) It’s a shame because I think he is a really talented player.
