Ruben Amorim believes Matheus Cunha has "more levels to go" after the Brazilian returned to training ahead of their Premier League meeting with West Ham.
Cunha has missed the last two Manchester United matches against Everton and Crystal Palace after picking up a knock in training.
He scored his first goal for the club in the win over Brighton and has created the third-most chances in the team (10).
Cunha has also completed the most dribbles (15), while only Amad Diallo (34) has attempted more than his 32.
Amorim confirmed Cunha is back in contention for the match against West Ham and is hoping he can continue to grow.
"He has more levels to go," Amorim said of Cunha in his press conference.
"He's at a different club, different pressure, he was struggling because he was not scoring and because of social media abuse, he was thinking too much about the numbers, but the influence he has in the team is important to us.
"I think he has so much to grow offensively and defensively."
Amorim also highlighted the struggles of Leny Yoro, who gave away a penalty against Palace on Sunday.
He was substituted early in the second half and was consoled by Mason Mount at the end of the game, with Amorim noting that Yoro will continue to improve as he gains more experience.
"I also spoke with him because he thinks too much, he makes a mistake, and then he struggles," Amorim said.
"He wants to do everything so well. He's growing, with games and with setbacks; it's not easy for him as a young guy.
"He cannot show that to the people the way he came to the bench; he knows that. It shows he cares; he knows it wasn't his best game. He is fit and ready for the next challenge."
Amorim has lost nine of his 19 Premier League matches at Old Trafford as United boss (W8 D2) and is looking to avoid becoming the fastest to reach 10 home defeats.
However, they have lost four of their five Premier League games against West Ham (W1), more than they had in their previous 28 against the Hammers (W19 D6 L3).

Yoro needs a break. when u think too much, u r bound to make mistake. Two costly mistakes, both eventually conceded goals. Can't believe United lost to 10 men Everton. Amorin should have sacrifice one defender for search of an equaliser. Miss Cunha though. Good he will be playing next game so do expect Martinez to start too
Martinez can't start this game at this moment

More levels? When he is already one of the very best players in the current squad? What shall we say then about the remaining mediocre lot?
