Danny Ings looks increasingly likely to STAY at Liverpool.
The former Burnley striker has been keen to leave the Reds, but they are yet to receive a suitable offer, reports the Liverpool Echo.
Ings has attracted interest from Premier League clubs and is keen to move for regular first-team action.
Liverpool were confident of banking around £20million but as it stands nobody has been willing to match the asking price.
Crystal Palace were the front-runners but they are set to sign Jordan Ayew on a season-long loan from Swansea City instead.
Ings is scheduled to train with the Reds' squad at Melwood on Thursday afternoon and barring a dramatic turn of events he won't be leaving before the 5pm deadline.
The 26-year-old, who returned to action in Tuesday's friendly win over Torino, could still move abroad if a sizeable offer is tabled before the end of the month.
However, Klopp isn't actively looking to off-load a player who he views as a valuable attacking option.
There is no prospect of any incomings to Liverpool on deadline day with Klopp happy with the options at his disposal. It now appears unlikely that there will be any outgoings either.
Sheyi Ojo has been the subject of interest from a host of Championship clubs including West Brom.
The Reds have been prepared to sell the winger for £15million but an offer of that size hasn't been forthcoming and now a loan looks increasingly likely.
There is no urgency to sort that out as Football League clubs can complete loan signings up to the end of the month.
Outside of England, the transfer window doesn't shut until August 31. Lazar Markovic, Divock Origi, Simon Mignolet and Pedro Chirivella are all expected to leave over the coming weeks.

If we are going to compete this season and chasing all trophies we will need him. A good replacement when we are fine with the game result.

i want klopp to keep ings because he has not really have the chance to prove himself due to injuries problem so i think klopp should keep him as a back up for firmino and sturage bcause even sturage is not reliable intense of injuries i pray he never go back to injurie Amen YNWA

I don't think this man is good enough even to start on the bench for Liverpool, the best thing for him is to go out there and first for regular shirt
