David Beckham has shared his favourite memories of Manchester United's famous Treble season 20 years on.
Beckham was a linchpin of Sir Alex Ferguson's side as they lifted the Premier League, the FA Cup and the Champions League at the end of an extraordinary season.
Beckham also admits it was a 'tough season' on the back of the abuse he received from the fallout of England's World Cup exit the previous summer.
We were so consistent and that was all down to the manager and the coaches. They kept us on our toes, they kept us consistent and they kept us hungry', he reveals when reliving the 20th anniversary of United's Treble season to Otro.
'I grew up dreaming to play at Wembley for Manchester United in an FA Cup final. I actually still remember the smell of a couple of United fans that actually picked me up and celebrated with us.
They were obviously smokers, and I still smell that smoke from that day. And I remember another one, trying to pry my boots off of my feet, cos it was such a special day.'
The pinnacle of United's season arrived when they scored two stoppage time goals against Bayern Munich to lift the European Cup in Barcelona.
He admits it is the only time that season nerves almost got the better of him.
'I never get nervous in games, I never get nervous before games or in the lead up to games, but I must admit this is the one occasion I had a few butterflies.
'Winning a game of that magnitude, that moment, nothing could come close to that.'
He was the subject of frequent abuse that year after his sending off for England against Argentina.
He admits: 'It was a tough season. The abuse was like nothing I've ever experienced.
'The only reason I got through that season was Sir Alex Ferguson, Manchester United my team-mates, my family and the fans.'

United has manufactured one of the best players in the world like George Best, David Beckham, Cristiano Ronaldo, Paul Scholes, Ryan Giggs, Roy Keane, Phil/Gary Neville. We need to go back to our traditional way of developing superstars rather than buying them like we are now.
