Juan Andujar Oliver, MARCA's referee expert, believes that Luuk de Jong's goal against Real Madrid was wrongly ruled out.
Sevilla thought they'd taken the lead when the Dutchman headed past Thibaut Courtois from a corner, but the goal was ruled out following a VAR review.
Referee Juan Martinez Munuera adjudged Nemanja Gudelj to have blocked Eder Militao's path by setting an NBA-style pick in the build-up after looking at the pitchside monitor.
"I don't think there's a foul from Gudelj on Militao," Andujar Oliver said.
"The Sevilla player has his back turned and doesn't move, there's no block.
"It's the Real Madrid centre-back who initiates the contact with Gudelj's body but once the referee went to the monitor, it was clear that he was going to rule it out."
