De Zerbi makes first Serie A transfer request to Spurs chiefs

Roberto de Zerbi has concerns about the experience inside Tottenham's midfield.

While the likes of Archie Gray and Lucas Bergvall have caught the eye, De Zerbi has quickly indentified that Tottenham need greater leadership in the engineroom.

De Zerbi has already discussed potential summer transfers with Spurs management.

And one player De Zerbi has requested is Juventus captain Manuel Locatelli.

With just over 18 months to run on his Juve deal, Tottenham spy the chance to meet De Zerbi's request at a bargain price.

Locatelli has been close to moving North London over the past two years, with Arsenal a long-time suitor.
