Bayern Munich are set to rival Arsenal for the signature of West Ham captain Declan Rice.
West Ham's victory over Leeds at the weekend looks like it could be the England international's London Stadium swansong as he is expected to leave the club this summer.
Arsenal's desire to sign the England international is well documented and a £90m offer - less than West Ham's £100m valuation - is expected to soon be made.
However, Rice is also on the shortlist of Bayern Munich boss Thomas Tuchel, who as reported by Sky Germany, considers the 24-year-old to be one of their top targets this summer.
It's also said that the Bundesliga side could be willing to pay the package demanded by West Ham.
However, talks are not an advanced stage yet and it is still unclear where Rice sees his future.
Rice had previously been linked with a move to Chelsea when Tuchel was in charge at Stamford Bridge.
As previously reported, the Bundesliga giants - who are currently on course to miss out on the Bundesliga title to Borussia Dortmund - are determined to strengthen their midfield this summer.
The likes of Chelsea's Mateo Kovacic and Juventus midfielder Mateo Kovacic have also been linked but German outlet BILD report that Rice would be their preference.
If they are willing to meet West Ham's demands, it could come as a blow to Arsenal.
Mail Sport reported this week that Arsenal are considering alternatives to Rice.
However, the Hammers want considerably more for their star player, and believe that Manchester United would more likely meet their demands.
Arsenal hope Rice wants to stay in London, but they also have interest in Real Sociedad's Martin Zubimendi, Ruben Neves of Wolves and Brighton's Moises Caicedo.
Man City meanwhile have weighed up a move for Rice, though have concerns his playing style could clash with Rodri who has become an influential figure in the heart of their midfield.
German outlet BILD meanwhile have also reported that the club want to sign Manchester City striker Julian Alvarez.

I can confirm that Tuchel is such a overrated and clueless coach! Does he really think Rice is better than Kimmich? wohw
He should move Kimmich to 8 position while Rice in 6.

Great player but the price is overrated. I liked the style he acores his goals and his playmaking but the price is too much. I don't think Rice is overhyped actually he is a great player especially for below average teams like Westham to maintain that consistency is a good thing. But the price is very high

Bayern can not match that amount. Only English teams can match Rice’s price tag then maybe Madrid and PSG
