Dejan Lovren says Liverpool have learned their lessons from previous seasons

Dejan Lovren believes Liverpool are primed more than ever to finally end their wait for a first league title since 1990.

Jurgen Klopp's men showed their mettle as they came from behind to beat Tottenham at Anfield on Sunday evening, maintaining their six-point lead over Manchester City at the top of the Premier League.

And their Croatian defender believes that the Reds are in a stronger position after learning the invaluable lessons of the past few campaigns.

'Let's say that every season we are smarter and smarter,' the centre back told Liverpool's official website. 'Definitely we've learned from all the years before and what kind of pressure we can play. We are used to it. We did it last year.

'We know what we need to do, but, like I said, let's not talk six or seven months up front. Let's go game by game. This is key.'
