It's an argument that is brewed most evenings in households across the country... just what is the right way to make a cup of tea?
The issue of the perfect cuppa was top of the agenda for Tottenham pair Dele Alli and Eric Dier as they took their bromance to the next level as they appeared on a charity Gogglebox episode.
As part of Stand up to Cancer, the two Spurs stars got comfortable on the sofa at the north London residence and debated cups of tea while watching University Challenge, The Haunting of Hill House and Naked Attraction.
It was Alli who was tasked with making the tea for both of them. But while Dier had his personal mug with the letter 'D' on it, he was less than impressed with his team-mate's noisy antics drinking.
'How hot have you made that?!' Dier began.
'Look I make a lot of noise when I drink my tea,' Alli laughed. I'm a slurper.'
The pair wracked their brains during the episode of University Challenge which saw Manchester take on east London. But the Tottenham pair quickly realised their talents are on the pitch and not on the BBC programme.
Alli, who is close to agreeing a new long term contract with Tottenham, bemoaned the fact Dier likes his tea 'really hot' as they kept it healthy with TV snacks of strawberries and grapes.
Fans got a greater insight into the pair away from the pitch and the best friends soon showed they are less than impressed when it comes to watching horror shows.
The new Netflix thriller 'The Haunting of Hill House' had Alli covering his eyes and Dier clutching at the cushion.
'Honestly if it's scary I can't watch it!' Dier insisted. 'Oh my god it's coming... I can feel it coming. No no no no no no no.'
Both are busy preparing for Monday night's visit of Manchester City with Alli fit again after missing the midweek 2-2 draw away against PSV Eindhoven in the Champions League.
Abby Clancy: 'I taught you what clean was! You weren't used to that before you met me.
Crouch: 'Yes I was!'
Abby: 'No you weren't! When I first went to your flat it was an absolute tip!'
Crouch: 'Yeah...I was a boy living on his own.'
Abby (talking to dad Jeff): 'And he had odd bedding. He had a flowery pillowcase and a blue one and no sheet on the quilt! Not that I went in his bedroom or anything... and he had a Loaded magazine and a money box with naked ladies on.'
