Dutch footballer Memphis Depay, the Lyon star, is FC Barcelona's top target to strengthen their attack and everything suggests he will join Ronald Koeman's side in the summer.
Depay would arrive at Camp Nou for free when his contract with French club Lyon expires and he will be available to take the next step in his professional career.
Pending a final decision on his future, he has made it clear once again that he wants a new challenge next season.
Speaking to Canal +, he revealed that both he and teammates Aouar need to go to a better club so that they can improve individually.
“Houssem Aouar and I know that we play for a great club, but we want to go to one of the three best clubs in the world," Depay said.
"Then you will see Houssem, he will be 10 times better. It's the same with me."
Depay's chances of joining Barça in January are zero due to the Catalan club's financial situation and the delay over electing a new president.
